The issue appears to be coming from `typescript` package. For testing it, I upgraded from `^4.3.5` to `^4.8.4` and the issue is fixed now. so far, it can be fixed...

Indeed this feature is very needed. One that I already saw was in [Quire](https://quire.io). Does the same thing.
