List by member of team doesn't work with version 0.4.0
Hello,
Sorry, my english is awful...
I've just install the 0.4.0 version and I have an issue with it.
When I want to make a list with Autors, i'll take "from" then the name of the autor. But, when i save my page, the name of autors is not saved by Advanced-post-list. It's the same with list created with the precedent version of the program... After saved the page, just "-none-" appeard on the page...
Thanks for help
Fred
Your English is good, and I find it very admirable.
Thank you for reporting this. The version 0.4.0 update is very large. I added the ability to backup the old data, and has the ability to revert back to 0.3.7.
If you replace APL with v0.3.7, everything should return to normal. DO NOT Uninstall. Uninstalling will remove the database with the uninstall function. YOU MUST change the files via FTP or cPanel's File Manager.
You could resave the post list as well, but that decision is yours.
Hello, and thanks for your answer.
It's not really a big issue for my website, i just wanted to know if it's general or if it's just my website, and also if the next version will correct this problem. If yes, i'll wait the next version ;)
Fred
I try to assume the worse, and make the best of situations. Plus, any report that comes in, there is like 100 others that didn't report this. Thus, any report is taken in high regard.
There will be an update for this to correct this situation.
However, the new version does have a significant amount of improvements, but would rather leave it to your decision to wait or continue.
Ok, i'm totaly satisfied with Advanced-Post-list that i used since nearly 4 years ago. So I'll continue to use it with the new version and I'll wait the next issue to correct this little problem.
Thanks a lot for your answers :)
That's always awesome to hear, and I'm glad to see others enjoy it just as much as I have.
4 years is really astonishing / stunning considering APL saw a dark age. Hopefully 0.4 with give APL a significant boost into the right direction, and be more of a positive influence.
It's really the community that kept APL alive from the few that appreciate it, and how much a positive impact it has had with them.
Again, thank you for setting time aside to report this. It helps many others that may have this issue.
I added a few changes to make it a little more stricter with handling the type case. I suspect it was an issue with a string value, and changed it to an integer.
Please let me know if this helps.
An update has already been pushed onto WP. I included the changes in there. It might fix your problem, but there was some difficulty reproducing the issue.
Would just need to update to 0.4.1 on your WP platform.
