Google Play: com.dacia.mydacia.one.fr - required to log in after a reboot

The app My Dacia (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dacia.mydacia.one.fr) asks to accept cookies and requires to login after every reboot even though it's not filtered by adguard. If I disable adguard completely (no autostart) the problem is gone and My Dacia does not require any login, just starts as it should, even after a reboot. This can be reproduced each time so I expect this is fully related to adguard.

The user has faced this problem, but it's not reproduced with given config. In fact, he says that leaving only the protection enabled or disabled filtration for the app does not help.

@robw-nl Hi! Regarding the issue with the play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dacia.mydacia.one.fr application, have you tried disabling the Tracking Protection module?

Hi Diana, That is interesting, with all Adguard settings to default and tracking protection off, the Dacia app does start. As soon as I switch tracking back on it won't, I again need to delete all Dacia app data, boot and then I can login again. But only once. After the next boot it will again only work after delete all its data etc. etc.

Is there a way to whitelist this app (and other apps) from the tracking function/filters somehow? I have obviously already whitelisted the Dacia app in App management and that makes no difference.

Have you disabled the Route traffic through AdGuard switch for "My Dacia" app in the App Management?

I did that a couple of weeks ago per your colleague's instruction. That didn't work unfortunately. It's still in there now, see attached.

@robw-nl I believe that the problem is related to Self-destructing third-party cookies (180) and Self-destructing first-party cookies (4320). Could you please try disabling these options and check again?

Hi Diane, I just checked, if switch on tracking protection, then go to custom, switch off third party cookies, refresh Adguard and open the Dacia app it immediately fails. If I then turn off tracking protection, delete the app's data, boot my phone I can login again and that survives multiple boots UNLESS I enable tracking protection follow your settings advise. So it must be something else. This is truly a puzzle! Rob

@robw-nl Would you be able to share logs from your device? This will help us reproduce the issue on our end. If so, please follow the step below:

  1. Enable debug logging: Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Logging level -> Debug.

  2. Enable Tracking protection module

  3. Reproduce the problem, then remember the exact time when it happened.

  4. Collect logs: Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Export logs and system info.

  5. Send this file to [email protected]:

    • include [android] keyword and 5657 in the subject of your email
    • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

Hi, I've put a lot of effort into trying to get 2 different sets of data for you with different workflows in order to pinpoint where it goes wrong. I mailed those sets including all the keywords I was asked to put in.

After your last mail I resend everything, log files, description of the workflow I used, how to repeat the problem and what happens (it just works) if Adguard is disabled. Not sure what else I can do.
