Issue Details

Steps to reproduce: 1.Open adguard test site and adguard dashboard 2.adguard test site gives an error adguard dns not running and on dashboard this device is not connected.

Expected Behavior

In test page it should show adguard dns is running and dashboard should show that this device is connected with green dot.

Actual Behavior

Actually its showing ag dns not running and in dashboard device is not connected with red dot.

Additional Information

When using adguard private dns address with DOH Test shows AG DNS not running and dashboard doesnt recognise the browser and device. But as soon as when i use DOT everything works normal. I have done enabling disabling filter, perform check on firefox and edge, reinstalled adguard, resetting devices in dashboard but nothing seems to work

I found out android browsers which have secure dns option (vivaldi, chrome) by putting adguard private dns Adguard test site shows dns running status. Similarly edge and firefox dont have secure dns option so the test site show no adguard dns running even though i am using adguard app. Adguard app should force browser to use there dns.

That means the adguard test site fails to recognise that i am using their dns but actually the edge browser is using adguard dns. Dnsleaktest.com now showing 2 server datacamp singapore cogent singapore. Both using dns.adguard-dns.com

@AbhimanyuKhadse In order to troubleshoot this issue, we need to get your application logs.

Here's what we need you to do:

1. Enable debug logging: Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Logging level -> Debug.
2. Reproduce the problem, then remember the exact time when it happened.
3. Collect logs: Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Export logs and system info.
4. Send this file to [email protected]:
   • include [android] keyword and 5479 in the subject of your email
   • specify the exact time when the issue occurred

Cant reproduce the issue. Now android edge and firefox browser working and adguard test site now showing the status that i am using their dns. I have performed the test on the latest android adguard 4.7 nightly 44. If the issue occurs again i will send a log to the email. Thanks for giving your precious time.

@AbhimanyuKhadse actually, we released some update that should have potentially resolved this. I'm glad to hear that the problem has been resolved, anyway if the problem happens again please reopen the issue
