Deep learning classification

Since deep learning is all the rage, and I'm curious and want to learn, I've been thinking of a few applications of deep learning to quantified self data.

• Analyze audio logs to classify who speaks when
  • If you record everything you say, it would be interesting to see how much time you spend talking vs listening and with whom.
  • Done by that video conferencing service that has ads on Masters of Scale
  • Might be a solved problem?
  • How to gather trainingdata?
• Classify activity into categories
