Crashes if no space left on device

I got an OSError at line 166 and 146 when diskspace ran out temporarily.

Was this fixed by the update ?

(At any rate I wouldn't worry too much about it at this stage - before, say, v1 - I wouldn't expect non-commercial programs to stay alive if they can't right to disk, and especially not background watchers.)

And yeah i agree. Users generally shouldn't run out of disk space so this isn't super important, but it would be nice to have when we do a 1.0 release.
