I'm on a portable installation of Krita and my models folder have a symbolic shortcut for them, not sure if that's of any relevance, since I've installed and used the other models no problem.

It's generally not a good idea to use the plugin installer on external ComfyUI or StabilityMatrix or similar. In that case you should install it via those tools. They may have a way to install insightface.

If you're doing it manually, see notes on insightface here: https://github.com/cubiq/ComfyUI_IPAdapter_plus?tab=readme-ov-file#installation

Hmmm I didn't really install comfyui through StabilityMatrix, I just let your plugin install it there so my packages are right beside each other. StabilityMatrix hasn't touched the package that the python plugin installed.

I'll try installing Manager and install it through there

Managed to install it! Didn't get to use Manager tho, as I misunderstood that I need to install IPAdapter Plus and not insightface. For anyone else having the same problem, this video helped me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCCVxGtCyho

After that, I went back to Krita, restarted the server, and tried installing again through the plugin, it was able to download the model from there.
