Mac OS 15 install and generate "Buffer error 8.48 MB"

I tried installing the latest 5.2.5 Krita on a Mac M1 with OS 15. Then loaded the latest 1.25 plugin. Set to use local server but generating anything gives a buffer memory error. Am I missing something? Thank you.
