Query about estimating area with different technology

Open JimmyWong1998 opened this issue 11 months ago • 1 comments

Hi,

I am using Accelergy to estimate some accelerator architectures with different technologies (e.g. 28nm and 40nm) but I found that when I modified the technology parameter in the relevant yaml file, the output of area estimation remained the same result. So does Accelergy support to estimate the design on different technology nodes? And one other question is, what is the area unit of the result shown in ART.yaml (mm^2 or um^2) ?

Thanks for your reply. Jimmy

Hi, Jimmy.

I am also using Accelergy with different tech like 28nm. I found the area results changed but they were strange. I wonder if they could handle the case with 28nm? The area unit should be um^2.

Thanks. Kutta
