Examples don't compile

I haven't been at it very long, but I haven't yet been able to produce any valid block kit JSON with this library yet. I even tried the example output, verbatim, in Slack's block kit builder -- still no dice.

I'm not ruling out that I am missing something / doing something wrong, but it would be nice to have example code that produces output that actually works in Slack.
