leftvalues without feminism?
How is it possible that not even one question addresses feminism?
i was wondering the same thing. Seems a significant oversight :( and my main leftvalue is smashing patriarchy
As an issue this is probably better suited to v2 actually (the intention with v2 was to completely rework the questions from the ground up, so that would be a good time to add in questions relating to feminism). I'm not sure which axis it would correspond to though, maybe traditionalist vs progressive?
I know that v2 has been essentially a dead project for about a year and a half but I think with a bit of work (and probably a bit of help) it can be back in the pipeline.
Left is not about feminism but how the market works. Please kindly exit your imaginary world and look at USSR, China and North Korea - the actual left countries.
When people refer to "leftvalues" they're often talking more broadly about the different intersecting ideas which encompass "the left" as a whole - while the economics is a key part of these values, feminism also forms a part of the bubble of ideas held by leftists (and non-leftists of course).
Consequently, while I agree that a question on feminism would be unlikely to affect the economic axis, a later version of the quiz would do well to have at least one question centred around its ideas is important to assess one's views within the wider political spectrum, and thus would be useful to include in 8values.
maybe traditionalist vs progressive?
Possibly, It depends what sort of question is being asked and what you mean by "traditionalist" - that's going back quite far.
