Feature Request: Disable certain inputs / lock homescreen elements

Once Niagra lock the edit mode. It will be easy for any favorite icon to just swipe right as well as long tap to see favorite icon pop up window.

Every now and then I need to Niagra settings pop up which I never used since years ago

Describe the solution you'd like

• Implement lock.freez desktop toggle in settings, Enabling this will freeze niagra setting pop up to appear.
• Now niagra setting pop up come from any other way, like search window, long press empty area in home page like this
• This new mini pop up will have one option only, UNLOCK HOME PAGE. Now same niagra setting pop up can be accessed easily
• Moving on lock desktop mode.
• Long tap on favorite should open POP UP of icon rather than config menu Benefit:
• Rarely used nigra setting pop up will not bother niagra experience
• Heavily used favorite icon pop up will be available by two method: Swipe and Long tap

Hey there, thanks for your request and apologies for the late response. Have you tried adjusting the long-press delay and gesture input sensitivity in the android settings? This might already help with the issues you're facing. If not, let me know, and we'll see what we can do.

@NiagaraSupport its not issue , every launcher provide an option to lock desktop. when this option is on, accidently adding widget ,reposition favorites is not allowed. context menu changed. refer any other launcher

Please implement it. It will showcase the home screen as major thing. Everyone have right for good looking homescreen

My major problem: Just to look some info in homescreen, I could not rest my finger anywhere on homescreen. It do trivial task

• open app drawer accidently
• open niagra context menu
• open widget app
• Open agenda
• Open agenda
• Open app context menu There are millions of pop up windows in Niagra launcher. Please disable them all. A slight touch anywhere on homescreen kills your focus

I could not look screen for 3 to 5 second without being so careful about touches. Look at my screen

Please see indicator which can be implemented to show that elements are locked for touch>Please see below mock up, Two location I have indetified

Thanks for the mockups! It’s clear you put a lot of thought into this, and I’ll pass your suggestion along. There’s no plan to add this feature at the moment, as we’re a small team and need to allocate resources carefully. If we decide to include it at some point, we’ll update you.
