Wallpaper moves on home screen while lock screen is fine

Describe the bug

Using Google photos I've set the wallpaper, and panned to the preferred section of the photo. The lock screen is correctly panned (blue van in the middle), while the home screen is not (blue van is now to the right, hence the wallpaper takes the left most section of the photo)

Steps to reproduce

• set wallpaper using Google photos
• pick a photo that's wider than your screen
• pan to the right most section of the photo and hit set as wallpaper
• observe the difference between lock screen and background

Does the issue also occur with other 3rd-party launchers?

Hey there, thanks for the report. We’ll see what we can do, but it’s not something we’ll be working on in the near future, as it’s low priority and possibly hardware-related.
