this feature is related to the problem that on motorola devices the only launcher where the gesture 'swipe right on the homescreen on the homebutton to enter the last recent app' doesn't work only on niagara launcher. whilst working just fine on other thirdparty launchers like smart-launcher. A recent discovery made me have hope that this feature could just work fine on motorola devices, after i updated the launcher to 1.10.3, i don't know if this was version specific or just because something in the launchers code hasn't fully loaded allowing the swipe through the recent apps without opening the recent app menu fullscreen. after trying again it wasn't working anymore.
Describe the solution you'd like
The temporary fix has been discussed with the moderator 'Paul O'Malley'. At first i thought what if Niagara identifies which brand the phone is from, however that fix requires a lot of work since it needs to have an updated database on a lot of phone models where this work or not. That is why you should make it up to the user then. less work, just a setting to turn on if their gestures (swiping left to the most recent app) aren't working And then when the user wants to go to the last recent app via the swipe to the left from the gestures then Niagara overrides that into going into the recent menu and then going left and clicking the app. And from there u could just swipe left and right through the apps normally without fully going into the recent menu. it should only work if the condition is set that it only work when the launcher is active. And not a different app. That it only then registers and looks for the swipe to the left from home button.

I do have a similar problem with a Samsung; I use gestures and swiping up does not bring the app menu if I'm in the home screen. When I want to go back to an app I know I have opened, I must open a random app just to be able to swipe up and go back.
I am facing same issue on my moto edge 30 stock rom with Android 13 . this thing work fine in other custom roms . but wont work on stock.. i have to swipe and hold to go back to recent app . please fix this issue ... thank you......
