Module 0X - subject / scale: Discussion about the precision of the outputs [Long Term Issue]
- Module: 03 and others
- Exercises: xx
Some evaluators are very strict about the precision of the result. But there is no mention of a expected precision for the outputs Thus, we can:
- decide a precision for all the outputs in the modules
- specify in the scale that as no particular precision is expected, outputs should be roughly equal to the expected result (easy way).
- Create a script to check the result and remove every basic tests
As we wish to have a clear version, the fastest solution is to specify that no specific precision is expected thus outputs should be roughly equals
As we are short staffed, I advise to go with the fastest solution, which is to mention that outputs should be roughly equal to the expected result.
If wanted we can keep this issue open, as a way to allow for future contributors to go with either solution if they want to. I would personnally advise for the script which is the best way to assure a long term high quality in students work.
Issue will be fixed in the project Scale_correction_python_ml
