"decsync keeps stopping"

After adding a rather innocent entry on my phone, decsync choked. I got the "decsync stopped" popup a few times over the course of a few days, and when trying to open the app I got the message "decsync keeps stopping". Restart helped, sync is now complete, user is happy.

Not sure how to debug this, but I thought it's better to report what I have, maybe somebody has an idea?
