Mapbox only working with map_type = "satellite"

I'm not sure why but I can only use the satellite map from mapbox. All other map types result in an error. The error I keep getting is below.

Error in curl_download(url = url, destfile = file) : HTTP error 410.

I am also having this issue where only mapbox's map_type="sattelite" works while animating movement maps via moveVis package (10.3.5).

I keep getting Error in curl_download(url = url, destfile = file) : HTTP error 410

I have refreshed and created multiple API keys; however, I have not been able to get past this error.
